Pumpkin seeds – the benefits

Many times we eat something without knowing what the health benefits are of this particular food.

We decided we would like to share with you the benefits of the individual ingredients we use in our products 😊

This week we will focus on PUMPKIN SEEDS 🎃 

Pumpkin seeds contain large amount of arginine, an amino acid, that helps to relax blood vessels and improve blood flow – preventing hypertension. Seeds have lot of calories and proteins that are easily absorbed by the body which helps to stabilize blood sugar. In addition they are a great source of Zinc and vitamin E. 

Because they are unique in their composition of antioxidant nutrients they also decrease the cancer risk.

How can you use them?

Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top of mixed green salads, add to healthy sautéed vegetables or add them to your oatmeal or smoothie bowl in the morning in combination with your favorite granola. 😉🥘
